Welcome to Fat Tariff Tuesday. I spent at least two hours before bed last night scrolling. And scrolling. And scrolling. I told myself I wouldn’t do this. That I wouldn’t get sucked into the vortex of chaos that is swirling around us. But I did.
We must give ourselves grace when we are stepping into something new. It’s really that simple. We must take a breath. Settle into the moment. And actively choose to let the experience we came for happen.
I’m a writer because of my mom. She gave me my first journal and she is the one that told me to write stories. However, more than once, my aunts have mentioned with a weighted undertone, “Your mother is the real writer in the family.”
